I am a native Coloradoan, born in Greeley, raised in Western Nebraska. I am married to my lovely wife of 35+ years, Leigh Ann, who is Director of Women’s ministry at Timberline Church. We have three grown children, two grandchildren and a faithful dog who retrieves my newspaper every morning, rain or shine.

After high school graduation, I migrated back to Colorado attending Colorado State University studying Finance and Economics. I spent 12 years as a commercial lender working at banks in Denver, Greeley and Fort Collins. I left the bank industry to attend law school at the University of Nebraska. Upon completion, I went to work for State Farm, recently celebrating my 36th anniversary.

I have a passion for mentoring young kids and am currently serving as a CASA. I enjoy numerous hobbies, including cooking, reading, skiing, handball, and racing my vintage Formula Ford.
